  • Childhood - the roots were always there

From visiting the temples, lighting diyas, stories from the scriptures and listening to kirtans on the radio - my childhood unknowingly planted the seeds of yoga

  • Introduction to asana class at school

The physical practice of yoga entered into my life as a school subject. It felt fun, flexible and new. I only practiced to improve my flexibility, thinking that this is what progress meant in yoga. The deeper aspects remained untouched.

  • My 20's - Between runways & retreat within

For most of my 20’s, I was modelling professionally. A space that celebrated image, form, and outward expression - But even as I moved through this fast paced world, yoga remained my quiet anchor. Practicing asanas, following online classes, and exploring movement on my own kept me grounded. Though I was immersed in a profession built on appearances, yoga was my reminder of what lay beneath the surface — it refined me in stillness, and gently pulled me inward, closer to who I truly was.

  • 2023 - life changing teacher training in Rishikesh

In August of 2023, I enrolled for my 200 hr TTC where I finally began to understand the full and deeper meaning of yoga. I was not just practicing yoga, but embodying it now

  • Late 2023 - My father's illness and Gita's wisdom

Every lesson I’d learnt was suddenly put to the test when my father’s cancer returned. Yoga became my refuge, the Gita my guide and every breath a silent prayer. In the quiet between hospital visits, I discovered yoga’s truest power.

  • Oct 2023 - Feb 2024 : First teaching experience

I taught my first class in Varkala, India - not as someone who had mastered yoga but as someone humbly beginning to share its light. In 2024 I started teaching regular online classes, showing up from home, connecting with others around the globe.

  • Early 2025 - practicing through pain

A shoulder dislocation forced me to pause. I couldn’t practice asana the way I used to — but yoga showed up in stillness, breath, and surrender. I taught and practiced with one arm, and with a full heart.

  • Spring 2025 - Ahamflow is born

Out of every moment - the pain, the peace, the breath, the becoming - came Ahamflow. A space to slow down, to listen, to remember who you are. A space to simply be.
